Chantel2TAMPA, Fla. (November 3, 2015) – Frameworks of Tampa Bay, Inc. (Frameworks) announces the hiring of a new CEO, Chantel Griffin-Stampfer, effective November 30, 2015. Frameworks is a not-for-profit organization that teaches Hillsborough County youth to manage their emotions, develop healthy relationships, and make good decisions through social and emotional learning.

This fall, Frameworks increased the number of students they serve by 355 percent. The organization now serves all Hillsborough County middle schools.

Griffin-Stampfer studied special education at the University of South Florida and is one credit shy of earning her Masters Degree in social work from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to joining Frameworks, Griffin-Stampfer was the Vice President of Children’s Services at Easter Seals Florida, Inc., a non-profit that assists people with disabilities and special needs. The Board of County Commissioners also appointed Griffin-Stampfer to an anti-bullying task force, which is relevant to Frameworks’ focus on educating students on proactively managing their emotions rather than bullying. Griffin-Stampfer also served as Executive Director of the PACE Center for Girls from 2005 to 2012. In this role, she was responsible for budgeting, strategic planning, and developing fundraising goals.

“We look forward to this next chapter in the life of Frameworks, and we believe that Chantel is the right person for this stage of growth,” says Frameworks Board Chair Jennifer Garcia. “We are also extremely thankful for the tireless efforts of Kim Williams as our interim CEO and Chief Education Officer. Kim is nationally known for her work in emotional intelligence with youth, and we are fortunate to have her expertise.”

Former Executive Director, Jessica Muroff, announced her departure from Frameworks in June and is now serving as CEO of the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida. Muroff served as Executive Director for two years and, along with Williams, led Frameworks’ advancement into a larger and more impactful organization. Williams will continue as Frameworks’ Chief Education Officer.
