Brian Schank

Education:

Bachelor of Fine Arts, Music Education, University of Wisconsin Milwaukee

Master of Education, Administration and Supervision, Marquette University

Relevant Work Experience:

Brian brings more than 30 years of experience in secondary education, including 22 years in middle schools. He taught for eight years in Wisconsin before spending the last 22 years of teaching in Florida. Brian is certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid and trained in EQ Essentials Plus. He also served for four years as a peer evaluator for Hillsborough County Public Schools. As a band director, he built lasting relationships with students through years of mentorship and instruction. Throughout his career, promoting emotional intelligence has been a central focus of his work with students.

Why You Work at Frameworks:

I have always enjoyed building relationships with students, helping them find their voice, and encouraging them to express themselves. Education is about supporting the whole student and providing the tools needed to understand and manage emotions, build healthy relationships, and succeed in school and life. For more than seven years at Frameworks, I have used my classroom experience and passion for emotional intelligence to help students in Hillsborough County and beyond grow, thrive, and become their best selves.
