Melissa Best is an accomplished Hillsborough County educator with over 15 years of experience in education. Melissa is experienced in planning and executing training sessions, workshops, and team building activities for educators. She excels at ensuring successful event logistics and coordination to create engaging and impactful experiences.   Throughout her career, Melissa has been an innovator in promoting emotional intelligence and cultivating a positive learning environment for her students.

I believe my role at Frameworks will enable me to make a broader impact by supporting educators across the county in implementing emotional intelligence practices and fostering students’ social-emotional growth. I have witnessed the tremendous benefits of developing emotional intelligence in students throughout my career as an educator. This proved pivotal in shaping well-rounded individuals who can effectively navigate challenges, build healthy relationships, and succeed in all aspects of life. I have seen firsthand how the time put into implementing community building in the classroom is returned tenfold when students are able to self-regulate and work as a team toward a common goal. Empowering students with these skills equip them to become compassionate, resilient, and empathetic citizens, ready to thrive in an ever-changing world.
